Pousada de São Bento

The Pousada is located in the heart of the Gerês Nature Reserve with a splendid view over the River Cávado and the Caniçada Dam. The structure has been purpose built to offer hospitality to the many visitors who appreciate the peaceful and beauty that nature offers in this stunning nature park. The Gerês Nature Reserve lies in the very north of Portugal and stretches to the border of Spain. There are twenty eight rooms and one suite supported by a restaurant and bar. A swimming pool and a tennis court in the grounds exist for the convenience of the guests.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children from 0 to 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 15 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
One older child or adult is charged 30 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: 5 % VAT is included.
